Wayne Riner, 79, of Florence died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Elkins Funeral Home from 12-2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Shaun Smith officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

Mr. Riner was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Golden Flake as a route salesman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mearlyn Riner; two daughters, Paula Russell (Chris) and Marlene Riner; three sons, Winford Dewayne Riner, Jr., Winford Morris Riner (Lori), and Jeffrey Miller (Tina); three brothers, Donald Ray Riner (Gwen), Harold Riner (Gloria), and Randy Riner (Glory); eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
