Wylodine Porter Davis "Affectionately known as Mama Davis" age 94 of Rogersville, passed on Friday July 27, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-9pm at Elkins East. Funeral Services will be Monday at 2pm at Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, lying in state from 1-2pm with Rev Kenny Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery with pallbearers being elders of the Church. Mrs. Davis was preceded by her husband Arvil Davis, Parents Mr and Mrs G.W. Porter. Sisters Hautie Newton, Tamsie Balch, Edna Killen, Daughter in Law Linda Davis. Wylodine was survived by her Sons, Raymond Davis (Shirley) Hanceville, Jim Davis (Lynda) Killen, and Kenneth Davis (Jane) Rogersville. Daughter, Carolyn Lash (Robert) Rogersville. Grandchildren, Shaun Davis (Cindy) Maury Davis, Kim Cottrell (Tommy), Eric Davis (Shannon), Wesley Lash, Jennifer Gorum (Tommy), Annette McWhorter (Max) and Kelley Smith (Brian). Great-grandchildren, Jessie, Levi, Mason, Justin, Blair, Brittany, Jamison, Jacob, Hannah, Lindsey, Makenzie, Jessica, Heather, Bradley, Joshua, Taylor, Austin and Ashton. Great Great grand children Quadyn Poss and Brenton Hines. Mrs. Davis was the oldest member of Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of the choir.
