Obituary

Wynette Cook Butler age 86 of Anderson passed away on Friday February 6, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday evening February 8th, from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Elkins East Chapel. Graveside services will be Monday February 9th, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens 11:00 A.M. with Larry Sinyard officiating.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Whitehead, Larry Sinyard and Paul Dillon.

Wynette Cook Butler was born to Wyatt and Eva Cook on June 23, 1928, and married to the love of her life on October 31, 1944.

Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Travis Lee Butler, Sr.

Parents, Wyatt and Eva Cook
Brother, John Cook
Sisters, Nellie Fields, Mary Tucker, Dorothy Howard.

Survived by her children:
Daughter, Elaine Butler Bragg and children and grandchildren, Jamey Hammond and wife Melissa and children, Skyler and Mattie Hammond. Brian Ezell and wife Lindsey, and children, Austin, Libbi and Lilli Ezell. Sons, Travis Lee Butler, Jr. and wife Deborah and his children, Leslie Trousdale and husband Barry, Travis Lee Butler, III and wife Shannan, and children, Jordan, Chase and Sophie Butler.
T. Mark Butler and wife Kay and daughter Erin Norrell and husband Adam.
Russell Bennett Butler, and sons Noah Butler and Blake Williams and wife Morgan and son Bennett Williams.
Sister Helen Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews.
As well as her extended family, Scott and Kim Miller and their daughters MeLeah and Reagan and Brad and Leanna Miller and their sons, Cole and Mason.

The family would also like to recognize her special niece, Judy Parker, for her love and friendship that she has shown Mother over the years.

A special thank you to our sister Elaine for moving in with Mother and showing her the
loving care and concern that she required. A special acknowledgement of gratitude to Dr Robert Webb, the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Shoals for the excellent care they gave our Mother. Also, to a very special group of caregivers that have become like family to us; Jan Kelley, Denise Harrison, Jessie Davis, Virginia McGee, Heather Pierce and Katrena Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your place of worship or to St Jude''s Children''s Hospital.
